Here's a set of ten things you can do with your digital camera besides take pictures. Well technically you are taking pictures, but for other purposes. I've used mine for every one of these things including the innards of my computers and cars. I especially like the idea of locking a photo of your name and phone number on the memory card. A photo of your business card would be even cooler.
And here's another I discovered myself: Use your camera's view screen as a flashlight. Take a flash photo of a white wall or even your open hand. The way-overexposed photo in your view screen will give you enough light to see along a trail in the dark, find your real flashlight in a blackout and so on.
