What if, as a scientist, you asked to see the fundamental data that was used to predict anthropogenic global warming back in the early 1980s. And what if you were told the original data was lost or destroyed over twenty years ago. Would you still believe that scientists using computer models today based on those lost data sets could go ahead and predict the future anyway? Unlikely.
But that's what's happened.
