Price, either. The Fisker Karma carries a suggested price of about US$89,000.
The Fisker also includes an audio system that broadcasts faux engine noises through its external speakers. Very un-carguy-like.
So who's buying this? Today, the Wall Street Journal reports the US government has kicked in $529 million.
Oh, and Fisker's other top investors also include Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a veteran Silicon Valley venture-capital firm of which Al Gore is a partner. Gore already has a down payment on his Fisker. Perhaps someone could program Gore's Fisker to sound like a huge vacuum cleaner.
Karma, eh?
