Amateur astronomers and ham radio operators coordinated around the world this weekend to bounce messages off the Moon and back to Earth.Moonbounce commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11's landing on the Moon. The actual anniversary is July 20, but Moonbounce went ahead this past weekend because the Moon was in better position for radio reflection than it will be on the actual anniversary.
