What? No A/C Or Cupholders?
Everybody including me thought the Tata Nano, cheapest car in the world at US$2600 would fly off, er drive off the lots. Not so much. And it's not the economy. It's because the bottom of the line Nano is too hair shirty for even the newest of aspiring car owners. What's actually selling? Fully 50% of Nanos are upmarket version with air conditioning and cup holders. It appears even the masses want more than just a car for the masses.
