Chrysler Bankrupt? Pontiac Dead?

It's the carpocalypse. The New York Times is reporting that the US Government will drive Chrysler into bankruptcy as early as next week. And CNN is reporting that GM (now often known as Government Motors) will kill off the famous Pontiac brand. My father drove Pontiacs for decades. I learned to drive on his '62, almost identical to this one over at the Old Car Manual Project. Well I thought it looked like that. And it did. Sort of.
